Although it may feel that everything at Axel Hotel is aimed at one thing(!), it is done in a very elegant and tasteful way. The rooms have a modern design with an elegant mix of gold and black with touches of red. The sensuous atmosphere is created by the slightly darkened lighting in both the rooms and the common areas.
The rooms are completely soundproofed, so you don't have to worry about making a little noise!
On the top floor there is a very lively area (especially late at night) with sauna and steam room. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi and rooftop terrace area to relax on, with panoramic views of Berlin.
Axel also has a small gym to tone up your pectoral muscles and burn some calories before immersing yourself in their sauna...!
Oh, and of course, keep an eye out for the infamous "DO DISTURB" signs that you can put on the door to attract the attention of other curious guests!
